Hitomi Yaida Candle in the lives Blu-ray

Candle in the lives follows Hitomi Yaida through her first nationwide hall tour, turning four months on the road into her first documentary video. Beginning with the Candleyes tour in November 2001, the film follows the singer beyond individual performances and into the conversations, travel and recording work surrounding them. This edition brings the documentary to Blu-ray for the first time as part of her 25th debut-anniversary releases.

A prologue beside the Yodo River leads into Buzzstyle, the opening tour date and the countdown at Osaka Dome. Chapters around Sora no Tsukurikata, POP UP and Call & Response introduce the musicians and the atmosphere of the tour. Over the distance sits alongside discussions about guitars and walking, while Ring my bell includes a look at the song's recording.

The journey continues through Kyushu and Hokkaido, with conversations about music before the final day in Osaka. Not still over and Te to Namida precede an epilogue spanning the tour venues. Yaida's own footage of the audiences, filmed from the stage at every venue, adds a personal viewpoint to the documentary.

The single region-free Blu-ray runs approximately 98 minutes and features Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio with no subtitles.
