Hitoshi Matsumoto Presents Documental Season 10 Blu-ray

Hitoshi Matsumoto presents a closed-room survival contest in which the participants try to make one another laugh.

For the first time in the series, six previous winners gather for the ultimate showdown, the Championship of Champions! The strongest competitors clash for the title of true champion and a ten-million-yen prize. On this unprecedentedly fierce battlefield, who will survive to the end without laughing?

Pride, ambition and rivalry: six former champions gather, each carrying a determination of his or her own. This first champions’ tournament has only strong competitors. Immediately after it begins, an unexpected staring contest breaks out! Dispensing with tricks, they collide head-on and concentrate their attacks on a single champion. A legendary six-hour struggle has begun.

Champion attacks meet champion defences! Zakoshisho unleashes a relentless sequence of exaggerated impersonations, while Kukki! deploys his lethal image-based routines. Each attacks with a speciality, but none can easily breach the others’ strongholds. Yet their very strength produces laughter in unexpected places, and one champion is soon pushed to the brink.

An observer who is allowed to laugh arrives and disrupts the room. The former champions barely hold their laughter in. An attack exploits an opening and deals the finishing blow to one of them! Who is the first to disappear from the ultimate showdown? More crazed video attacks follow, and the high-level exchanges accelerate as the contest reaches its middle stages.

Only two competitors have reached this point without a yellow card. Where will the next laugh come from? Kotoge and Yuriyan launch desperate attacks, while others begin to exhaust the plans they prepared as time passes. After a battle in which they lay everything bare to make one another laugh, another participant drops out. The intense struggle goes beyond its limits.

Less than two hours remain. The champions withstand every attack, displaying a strength Matsumoto calls abnormal. In the final stages, Matsumoto himself enters the arena for the first time in Documental history! Ordinary methods can no longer make them laugh. Who will win this contest pushed to its extreme? The strongest of the strong is finally decided.
