Homecomings makes its major-label debut through Pony Canyon's IRORI records with Moving Days, its fourth full album. The four-piece band comprises Ayaka Tatamino on vocals and guitar, Honami Fukuda on bass and backing vocals, Narumi Ishida on drums and backing vocals, and Yuki Fukutomi on guitar.
Formed in 2012, the band developed its music through three earlier albums and performances in Japan and abroad. Comfortable melodies carry lyrics attentive to small details of everyday life, with a voice that feels intimate and gently nostalgic.
The eleven songs include an album version of Cakes, the theme of the film Just Only Love, and Pedal. Here opens the sequence, which continues through Good Word for the Weekend, Summer Reading and Tiny Kitchen before closing with Herge.
