The magical power of the word “unknown.” Those captivated by that power are called Hunters.

When Gon was a child, a young Hunter named Kite happened to visit Whale Island. From him, Gon learned that Ging, the father he believed was dead, was alive and was a great Hunter.

At twelve, Gon leaves his hometown to take the Hunter Exam. He wants to become a Hunter like Ging and to meet his father. Alongside his new companions Killua, Kurapika and Leorio, and the other aspiring Hunters, he faces the difficult trials ahead. Will Gon succeed in becoming a Hunter?
