Hyakuemu. Original Soundtrack 2CD

Hyakuemu. Original Soundtrack brings the music from the animated film starring Tori Matsuzaka and Shota Sometani to a two-CD set.

The film is based on Hyakuemu., the debut serialized manga by Uoto, creator of Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, published in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket. The jacket features an illustration by Uoto.

Hiroaki Tsutsumi, known for scoring anime, dramas and films including Tokyo Revengers, Jujutsu Kaisen and Dr. STONE, provides the music.

Disc 1 contains all twenty pieces of the main film score, composed to the picture throughout. Recording took place in New York, Budapest and Tokyo with distinguished musicians from each location. The immersive sound conveys the film's speed and tension.

Disc 2, Extended Edition, offers twelve tracks that reveal the starting points of the music's creation: rare demo versions, extra versions that develop motifs from the score into more independent pieces, and workout versions. Pursuing the quality of an instrumental album, it moves beyond the usual boundaries of a soundtrack.

The package comes in a special slipcase and includes a twenty-page booklet with liner notes by Hiroaki Tsutsumi for every track.
