On his very first day of living alone, Kyouhei, a university student who has moved from the countryside to Tokyo, has a disastrous encounter with his next-door neighbour Takara, a notorious playboy. Teased for being a country boy, Kyouhei becomes increasingly uncomfortable around his worldly city neighbour.
One day, an unexpected turn of events brings Kyouhei into Takara's room. Takara's hospitality gradually puts him at ease, and he reaches for what he thinks is a casually discarded packet of sweets. It turns out to be a condom wrapper. An awkward, slow-moving love story begins.
