Ichijoma Mankitsu Gurashi! Blu-ray

A single-tatami room overflowing with favorite things! Ichijoma Mankitsu Gurashi! adapts Hisama Kumako’s manga, serialized in Manga Time Kirara. The production brings together scriptwriters Tatsuya Takahashi and Hana Yamada, music by MONACA and director Toshinori Watanabe, with character designs and animation direction by Fumiya Uehara. This Blu-ray also comes with a selection of bonus footage.

Meiko Morita, a high-school student living in Akita, is unexpectedly chosen as a special transfer student at the prestigious Amamiya Girls’ Academy. Both excited and anxious about the school life she has dreamed of in Tokyo, she heads to the city—only to find that what awaits her is the Hedgehog manga cafe.

The cafe doubles as a student dormitory, where Meiko will work alongside its colorful residents as part of their service activities. And so begins her slightly unusual manga-cafe life in a one-tatami space.

All eleven episodes are collected with a newly illustrated sleeve, a sixteen-page special booklet featuring design materials and a set of illustrated coasters. Bonus footage includes creditless opening and ending sequences and a special video from VTuber Marika Belltree.
