Story: Makoto Majima is the son of a fruit-shop owner near the west exit park in Tokyo's Ikebukuro, commonly called Ikebukuro West Gate Park. Known as Ikebukuro's troubleshooter, he solves difficult cases beyond the police's reach, including yakuza-related crimes and gang turf disputes. In a neighbourhood attracting people from every walk of life, Makoto belongs to no organisation and treats everyone equally. Dangerous, exciting requests constantly find him. A city kind to everyone, Ikebukuro of love and peace. Yes, Ikebukuro is the best. As he keeps order again today, a troublesome case arrives that threatens the neighbourhood's peace.
