ILLUSTRATION 2027

ILLUSTRATION 2027 is an official Japanese paper book by Koji Hiraizumi, published by Shoeisha under the ILLUSTRATION label.

The latest 2027 edition of the bestselling ILLUSTRATION series features 150 accomplished artists spanning diverse pop culture, constantly changing online culture and the many cultural spheres of Japan's internationally watched illustration scene. Every featured artist is new compared with ILLUSTRATION 2026, bringing readers to contemporary illustration's cutting edge. The 2027 cover is by Japanese artist Peach Momoko, whose many Marvel and other comic covers and Eisner Award for Best Cover Artist have attracted worldwide attention. Emerging designer Tomoyuki Arima, trusted by numerous artists, designs the book.

The closing section interviews Kamome Shirahama, creator of Witch Hat Atelier, with more than nine million copies in circulation, and gehn, concept artist for Elden Ring and Bloodborne. A special conversation with Peach Momoko and Tomoyuki Arima explores the cover's creation. Cover artist Peach Momoko creates Marvel's Demon Days and Ultimate X-Men and numerous international comic covers. She won the Eisner Award for Best Cover Artist in 2021 and 2024. Her recent work extends beyond comics to tour posters for TOOL, Linkin Park and BABYMETAL, and One Piece card illustrations.

This Japanese paper edition contains 320 pages and is scheduled for release in Japan on November 26, 2026.
