Ippon Again! Animation

The popular Weekly Shonen Champion manga becomes an adorable, passionate diary of girls who practise judo. Judo is over! In high school, Michi plans to find a boyfriend and enjoy three bittersweet years. When she gets sunburnt, her judogi rubs painfully against her skin; groundwork pulls out her hair, winter training is miserable, and there are nosebleeds, broken bones and even fainting. She never became especially strong, so she has decided to give it up. Please, do not make her remember how wonderful it feels to score an ippon. Together, every day is fun.

Volume 2 contains episodes 5–7. The edition includes a slipcase with newly drawn artwork by character designer Airi Takekawa, a special digipak, a thirty-two-page booklet, a mini clear file featuring opening-sequence artwork and a clear card. The booklet presents story and character introductions, design materials, an interview with series composer Aya Satsuki, and interviews with Chiyuki Miura and Nene Hieda, who play Towa Hiura and Anna Nagumo.

The supplementary videos are the character promotional videos for Towa Hiura and Anna Nagumo and the second promotional video. Episodes 5, 6 and 7 each receive an audio commentary, bringing together members of the creative team and voice cast.
