JUNNA marks five years since her solo debut with Dear, a third full album that moves from driving rock and intricate, addictive songs to expansive ballads. Her powerful voice ties together familiar themes and newly recorded material across twelve tracks.
Dear opens the second season of The Ancient Magus' Bride, while Umi to Shinju and Taiyo no Koro are Yuki Kajiura compositions from Fena: Pirate Princess. Kaze no Oto Sae Kikoenai comes from Sabikui Bisco, and Aimai na Futari accompanies the drama Kojinsa Arimasu.
JUNNA writes both words and music for Ayamachi and provides the lyrics to You + Me = ?. n-buna contributes Haru no Yume, the theme of the animated short Fuyu no Okurimono, with Shiro Sagisu and JUON among the album's other collaborators.
