Kaede: Our Echoing Stars Deluxe Edition Blu-ray

Inspired by Spitz's song Kaede, this romance follows two people whose loss leaves them living with a painful deception. Sota Fukushi and Haruka Fukuhara star in a film directed by Isao Yukisada, written by Izumi Takahashi and scored by Yaffle.

Kei Sunaga and his girlfriend Ako Kinoshita appear to share a happy home surrounded by astronomy books and telescopes. But when Ako leaves each morning, the man she knows as Kei removes his glasses and changes his hair. He is actually Kei's older twin, Ryo. A month earlier, an accident in New Zealand took Kei's life. In shock, Ako mistook Ryo for his brother, and he could not bring himself to tell her the truth. Their childhood friend Kajino alone knows what happened and watches over him, while Ryo's younger acquaintance Hiyori and Yusuke, the manager of Ako's favorite shop, begin to sense something wrong. Ryo struggles with his double life yet finds himself drawn to Ako's open, positive nature. As she becomes the most important person in his life, it emerges that Ako has a secret of her own.

This deluxe edition contains two Blu-rays in total: the feature disc and a bonus disc. The main disc includes the theatrical trailer and a music-focused trailer. The bonus disc contains making-of footage, a full visual commentary with Sota Fukushi, Haruka Fukuhara and Isao Yukisada, featurettes featuring Toaka and Ryota Shibuya, and deleted scenes.

Event coverage follows the November 13 Japan premiere, the November 23 Osaka preview and Namba Square illumination event, the December 9 special preview with a live song performance, the December 20 opening-release stage greeting and the December 25 Christmas stage greeting. Hio Miyazawa, Anna Ishii, Kaito Miyachika, Nene Otsuka and Masaya Kato complete the principal cast. The feature has Japanese Linear PCM 5.1 audio, a Japanese Linear PCM stereo accessibility audio guide and Japanese subtitles for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing.
