Kageki Shojo!! Animation

These days will one day become the strength that lets them shine. Aspiring stars pour their passion into a brilliant stage in this spirited coming-of-age story about girls pursuing musical theatre.

Founded in the Taisho era, the Kouka Revue has captivated audiences across generations with beautiful, glamorous productions created entirely by unmarried women. Its training academy, the Kouka School of Musical and Theatrical Arts, welcomes its hundredth class after a fiercely competitive entrance process. Among them are Sarasa Watanabe, an innocent, exuberant girl standing 178 centimetres tall who idolises Oscar, and Ai Narata, a former nationally famous idol who seems uninterested in dreams, friendship or anything else. With almost nothing in common, the girls begin school lives filled with hope and conflict.

The release features an illustrated jacket and the special booklet Mini Kouka Gaho Volume 1. A character-song recording is presented in duet, individual solo and instrumental versions. Video extras include the first Sara Sanpo outing, the creditless opening and ending, promotional videos, commercials and web previews.
