Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger TV Series

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, the television series returns in an affordable Blu-ray box!

The Space Empire Zangyack attacks Earth. Thirty-four Super Sentai teams, from Himitsu Sentai Gorenger through Tensou Sentai Goseiger, rise to confront it. The struggle later becomes known as the Legend War. After the fierce battle, however, all the warriors' powers turn into objects called Ranger Keys and scatter across space. Several years later, Zangyack invades Earth again.

With the Super Sentai teams no longer present, five space pirates carrying Ranger Keys challenge Zangyack. Searching for the greatest treasure in the universe, they call themselves Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger and remain on Earth. This work commemorated the 35th Super Sentai series by portraying the heroes of all the earlier productions as inhabitants of the same world. Ten years after its broadcast began, it returns in a more accessible Blu-ray box.

Disc one contains episodes 1 through 4. Its extras comprise making-of footage for the pilot, the new series' special premiere presentation, its production press conference, opening and ending sequences without on-screen text, promotional videos, Gokai Files, Space Empire Files and the Gokai Gallery.

Disc two contains episodes 5 through 8, disc three episodes 9 through 12, and disc four episodes 13 through 16. Each of these three discs also contains Gokai Talk, an opening sequence without on-screen text, promotional videos, Gokai Files, Space Empire Files and the Gokai Gallery. The bonus footage was included on earlier Blu-ray releases.

The cast features Ryota Ozawa, Yuki Yamada, Mao Ichimichi, Kazuki Shimizu, Yui Koike and Kei Hosogai, among others.
