In the year 2000, the adventurous Yusuke Godai returns to Japan and encounters a mysterious belt recovered from the ruins of Mount Kurogatake. Putting it on gives him the power to become Kuuga, an ancient warrior. When the Grongi begin a terrifying series of human-hunting games, Yusuke chooses to fight so that people can keep their lives and their smiles. Detective Ichijo and a growing circle of allies stand beside him as his powers and responsibilities develop.

This complete-series edition contains all 49 episodes of Kamen Rider Kuuga, originally broadcast from January 2000 to January 2001. Disc one covers episodes 1-24 and disc two episodes 25-49, with a booklet included. Joe Odagiri, Shingo Katsurayama and Kazumi Murata lead the cast. The programme is presented in standard-definition 480i on Blu-ray, with Japanese Dolby Digital stereo audio, and runs 1,146 minutes.
