Kamen Rider Ryuki TV Series

Kamen Rider Ryuki returns in a new, more affordable Blu-ray box edition. Broadcast on TV Asahi from February 2002 to January 2003, it is the third series in the Heisei Kamen Rider era.

For the first time in Rider history, thirteen Riders fight not only monsters but one another, continuing until only one remains so that their personal wishes can be fulfilled. Released in cinemas while the series was still broadcasting, Kamen Rider Ryuki Episode Final presented another ending to the television series. Kamen Rider Ryuki Special: 13 Riders portrayed another world entirely different from the television series and prepared two different conclusions. Viewers decided the ending by telephone and online voting during the broadcast. Alongside the quality of the drama, these innovative ideas helped make the series popular.

This third box contains episodes thirty-five through fifty on three Blu-rays. Disc seven contains episodes thirty-five through thirty-eight, the special Kamen Rider Ryuki: 13 Riders, preview and promotional footage, and interviews with Arthur Kuroda, Kanji Tsuda, Sayaka Kuon and Hitomi Kurihara. Disc eight contains episodes thirty-nine through forty-four, preview and promotional footage, and interviews with Jun Takatsuki and Takashi Hyuga. Disc nine contains episodes forty-five through fifty, preview and promotional footage, broadcast junction clips and an interview with Kenzaburo Kikuchi. These bonus materials were previously included on DVD.

The cast includes Takamasa Suga, Satoshi Matsuda, Ayano Sugiyama, Sayaka Kuon, Hitomi Kurihara, Kenzaburo Kikuchi and Kanji Tsuda. The main-program footage was upconverted from SD source materials using updated HD processing.
