Kamishimo Season 2 Blu-ray BOX

The second television drama in the youthful comedian ensemble story Aitsu ga Kamite de Shimote ga Boku de! All seven duos from Seasons 1 and 2 assemble at the Shonan Theater!

Shonan Theater is a comedy venue to which hopeless or troublesome comedians are sent—also nicknamed the Stranded Theater. Of the four duos exiled there, Rough Tube, Amagen and Long Lead have secured outside work and are nearly breaking through. Exodus still performs manzai for an audience of only two.

For a time, a deserted-island survival show featuring Exodus became a sensation, and fans flocked to Shonan Theater. Seeing that success, fellow participants Last Waltz and Nonokurage, along with online comedians Neander, joined the venue. But demand generated by the program ended abruptly.

Stranded once more, the comedians are confronted one day by a new manager. Astonishingly, it is Yorozu, who had handled production coordination and odd jobs at the theater. Furious at their ineptitude, he declares a ranking system. Their positions will depend on how well they complete weekly challenges. The first task is reaction comedy! The lowest-ranked duo after two months will be fired!? A fierce race among comedians on the brink begins!

All eight episodes are included, plus approximately 124 minutes of making-of footage. A special booklet and presentation slipcase are provided. The original limited first pressing announced ten L-size memory photographs: one for each duo, group photos of the Season 1 and Season 2 duos, and a seven-duo group photo. These limited extras are not guaranteed after supplies run out. Specifications may change.

The cast features Yoshihiko Aramaki, Masanari Wada, Toshiyuki Someya, Takuya Mizoguchi, Shunya Ohira, Tsubasa Kizu, Masaki Nakao, Yuki Torigoe, Sho Jinnai, Mizuki Umetsu, Shohei Hashimoto, Ryosei Tanaka, Tsubasa Sakiyama and Takuma Wada, among others.

The two region-free Blu-rays contain approximately 181 minutes of main drama with Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio and no subtitles.
