Ai gives virtual performer Kanae two contrasting perspectives on his first full-length album. Disc 1, A, presents his outward-facing image as seen by others, likening him to a performer standing on stage. Disc 2, I, turns to his own first-person viewpoint, revealing a more introspective and sometimes darker side.

The first disc includes the Yusuke Saeki-penned Ai among eight vocal tracks, paired with their eight instrumental versions. The second features Refrain, created by Yuki Waga and Kana Yaginuma, alongside three further vocal pieces, the interlude log and four instrumental versions. This standard two-CD edition has newly drawn jacket artwork distinct from the limited edition.
