Kasumi Arimura's Filming Break Complete Series Blu-ray Box
WOWOWオリジナルドラマ 有村架純の撮休 Blu-ray BOX
An actress's day off that no one knows. Emerging directors and screenwriters imagine Kasumi Arimura's private holidays in this unusual drama, with Arimura playing herself in eight stories.
When filming is suddenly cancelled, Kasumi decides to return to her hometown for the first time in a while. Her mother Yumiko, played by Jun Fubuki, meets her at the station, and they go home together. While preparing rolled Chinese cabbage for dinner, mother and daughter chat casually. Then Makoto, a man Kasumi has never met, arrives.
Makoto, played by Shinnosuke Mitsushima, prays before the Buddhist altar dedicated to Kasumi's father. Yumiko warmly asks him to repair a bicycle. At her invitation, the three sit down to dinner together.
The three-Blu-ray box contains all eight episodes, totaling 229 minutes, with a three-minute promotional-spot collection and an eight-page mini photo book. The cast includes Kasumi Arimura, Yuya Yagira, Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Sairi Ito, Daichi Watanabe, Sho Kasamatsu, Kenta Maeno, Lily Franky and Jun Fubuki. Specifications may change.
