Kento Nakajima's third single, Onigoto / Fiction Love, is his first double A-side, released on August 19. Onigoto opens the second season of The Elusive Samurai. Nakajima co-wrote the lyrics with the struggles of its hero, Tokiyuki, in mind: fighting desperately to change any fate into the future he desires. Simple, lustrous pop captures the character's dazzling passage through his era while expressing Nakajima's allure and strength.

Fiction Love is the theme for Love Not Comedy, the film starring Nakajima that opens nationwide on July 3. It imagines actors falling in love in the real world, beyond their roles in a drama. The narrator is tossed about by every unpredictable gesture of the person he loves, in a fictional world where he can no longer tell where pretence ends and truth begins. The song portrays his confusion at the games of love, with lyrics that weave in filmmaking terms in keeping with its role as a movie theme.
