KING SUPER LIVE 2024 Blu-ray

KING SUPER LIVE 2024 captures the two-day gathering of King Records artists at K-Arena Yokohama on May 11 and 12, 2024. Spread across four Blu-ray discs, the programme brings together 100 songs and more than ten hours of performances and behind-the-scenes footage, from established anime themes to unexpected collaborations between singers.

The first day opens with Nana Mizuki's Exterminate and STARTING NOW!, then moves through performances by Sumire Uesaka, Chihiro Yonekura, Suara, Aimi, Hiroki Nanami, Yuma Uchida, Shota Aoi and many more. Yukari Tamura and Yui Horie reunite as Yamato Nadeshiko, while Hiroko Moriguchi, Akira Asakura and Masami Okui bring further anime-song favourites to the stage. Yoko Takahashi performs A Cruel Angel's Thesis and Tamashii no Refrain before the evening's collaboration section.

Among those collaborations are Preserved Roses with Shota Aoi and Hiroki Nanami, COSMIC LOVE with Inori Minase and Miho Okasaki, and paired performances of Little Wish and innocent starter by Yukari Tamura and Nana Mizuki. The full line-up closes the first day with Give a reason.

Day two begins with Mamoru Miyano's EXCITING! and Quiet explosion, followed by a programme that also features Shoya Chiba, HACHI, Anna Tsurushima, Kanoerana, RISE from Extreme Hearts and Hypnosis Mic's 3DCG performance. angela and Shota Aoi join forces for Hare Nochi Hallelujah!, and the later collaborations include DISCOTHEQUE with Nana Mizuki and Miho Okasaki and Glorious Break with Mizuki and Inori Minase. The assembled performers finish with Shangri-La.

Each day's concert is accompanied by approximately one hour of making-of footage. The four-disc Japanese release offers Linear PCM stereo sound, is region-free and does not include subtitles.
