Kingdom: The Flame of Destiny — Blu-ray & DVD Set, Regular Edition

Guided by destiny, the time has come. Japan's number-one live-action domestic film of 2023, as of November 2,2023! A distinguished cast gathers for full-scale action entertainment that explores a theme at the very heart of Kingdom!

Story In China's Spring and Autumn and Warring States era, seven states have fought one another for five hundred years. Shin, raised as an orphan of war, meets Ei Sei, the king of Qin, who looks exactly like his late closest friend. As though guided by fate, Shin joins the young king's quest to unite China. With his companions, he pushes toward his dream of becoming a great general under heaven. After their victory over Wei in Kingdom 2: To the Far Land, an even greater threat strikes. A vast army from neighbouring Zhao, nursing an age-old grudge against Qin, suddenly invades toward the capital. To face the strongest generals, burning with revenge, Ei Sei appoints the legendary great general Ouki, who has long been absent from war, as commander-in-chief. Before the army departs, Ouki asks Ei Sei how prepared he is to fight. The king reveals memories of Shika, the benefactor who brought light to him when he lived in deep darkness as a hostage in Zhao. Shin understands Ei Sei's determination to unify China. Having grown after his first battle into a captain commanding a hundred men, he is given the name Hi Shin Unit by Ouki and entrusted with a special mission: operating separately from the main force to kill an enemy commander. Facing a mission in which failure is forbidden, can Shin and his companions save Qin from destruction? As Ouki's unknown past also becomes intertwined with events, destiny moves in an unexpected direction. The greatest decisive battle in Kingdom's history begins!
