Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger: The Legacy of the Master's Soul Blu-ray

The story of Ryusoulger's beginnings, before the television series. Why were they chosen as successors? The shocking truth of Episode Zero is now revealed. This Ryusoulger spin-off, streamed on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club in October 2021, comes to Blu-ray.

Its central characters are the three masters, the previous Ryusoulgers who met a tragic end in the television series' first episode. How did Master Red, Master Blue and Master Pink choose their successors? The truth about these knights who served justice is finally revealed in a shocking prequel that takes place just before the warrior race Druidon returns to Earth.

Masaya Kikawada, Joji Shibue and Miyu Sawai return from the television series as Master Red, Master Blue and Master Pink. The five Ryusoulgers, including Koh, also appear, played by Hayate Ichinose, Keito Tsuna, Ichika Osaki, Yuito Obara and Tatsuya Kishida. Kenji Matsuda, known for Toei tokusatsu roles including Kamen Rider Hibiki and Kamen Rider Kiva, plays Nire, Master Red's senior fellow disciple. Kanon Hanakage plays Master Pink's disciple Isuka, Karen Miyazaki plays Mayu, Master Blue's former disciple who now researches Ryusouls, and Ren Komai plays the mysterious girl Hana.

Shortly before the Druidon return to Earth, the three masters carefully assess those who should succeed them. Confident in her strength, Isuka strongly objects to Master Pink favoring Asuna. Master Blue also senses Isuka's impatience. Then a Minosaur suddenly appears, using techniques similar to ones Isuka has recently learned. Was Isuka the person who created it? And what secret lies behind Hana, the girl who appears before Master Red?

This Blu-ray contains all three episodes, running forty-seven minutes, with making-of footage. The cast includes Masaya Kikawada, Joji Shibue, Miyu Sawai, Kenji Matsuda, Kanon Hanakage, Karen Miyazaki, Ren Komai, Hayate Ichinose, Keito Tsuna, Ichika Osaki, Yuito Obara and Tatsuya Kishida.
