KONOSUBA Anime

This is the story of a girl who longs for the strongest magic. The popular Konosuba series' spin-off becomes a television anime!

The Crimson Demon Village is home to a red-eyed clan born with exceptional magic and intelligence and a natural aptitude for wizardry. There is a lesson taught in that village: “Only those who master advanced magic are fully fledged. Explosion magic is a joke.” Yet while her classmates at the magic academy Red Prison eagerly await mastering advanced spells, the Crimson Demon girl Megumin alone studies hard to learn Explosion. She wants to catch up with the person, and the scene, she witnessed as a little child. This is the story of a girl who longs for the strongest magic.

Volume 2 contains episodes 5–8. The voice cast features Rie Takahashi as Megumin, Aki Toyosaki as Yunyun, Maria Naganawa as Komekko, Kaori Nazuka as Arue, Miyu Tomita as Funifura, Sayumi Suzushiro as Dodonko, Shizuka Ishigami as Nerimaki, Hitomi Nabatame as Chomusuke and Mitsuhiro Sakamaki as Pucchin.

Regular extras include special audio commentary and the textless ending. The original first pressing announced a new novel by original author Natsume Akatsuki, a slipcase illustrated by original illustrator Kurone Mishima, an anime jacket illustrated by character designer Koichi Kikuta and a special booklet. These limited items are not guaranteed after supplies run out.

The region-free Blu-ray runs approximately 96 minutes with Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio and no subtitles.
