Kowloon Generic Romance Blu-ray Box

In the nostalgic streets of Kowloon Walled City, estate agent Reiko Kujirai falls for her senior colleague Hajime Kudo. A photograph reveals that his former fiancee looked exactly like her, forcing Reiko to confront her own missing past. Familiar places stir feelings she cannot explain, while her growing affection draws her into a mystery where past and present overlap.

Adapted from Jun Mayuzuki's manga, the thirteen-episode series stars Haruka Shiraishi as Reiko, Tomokazu Sugita as Kudo, Ryotaro Okiayu as Miyuki Hebinuma, Taito Ban as Tao Gwen, Aoi Koga as Yangming and Sayumi Suzushiro as Xiaohei. Kengo Kawanishi voices Yulong, Soma Saito the young adult Xiaohei and Yuriko Yamaguchi Kujirai B. Yoshiaki Iwasaki directs, with series composition and scripts by Jin Tanaka, character designs by Yuka Shibata, music by Ryohei Sataka and animation by Arvo Animation.

Disc one contains episodes one to seven, creditless opening and ending sequences, the creditless episode-seven insert song, and promotional videos and commercials. Disc two presents episodes eight to thirteen, creditless insert-song sequences from episodes ten and eleven, and a special Kowloon Generic Radio girls' talk with Shiraishi, Koga and Suzushiro. The series runs approximately 315 minutes, with around forty minutes of supplementary video.

Two soundtrack CDs accompany the Blu-rays. A forty-page booklet contains a new manga and interview with Mayuzuki, conversations between Shiraishi and Sugita, Okiayu and Ban, and Mayuzuki and Yamaguchi. The storage box and digipak feature new illustrations by Shibata.
