Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Animation

Yuna meets all kinds of people and forms new bonds in an exciting life filled with battles and tears!

A long-awaited anime adaptation of the series that opened up a new corner of web-novel fantasy! Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear began serialisation on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2014 before being published by PASH! Books. Its unusual premise stood out among web-novel stories, and the original series had passed one million copies in circulation when the anime was announced. The popular tale follows avid gamer Yuna as she suddenly arrives in another world wearing an all-bear outfit with extraordinarily powerful magic and skills, balancing adventure with everyday life. The television series began airing in October 2020.

This bright, cheerful anime combines relaxed daily life full of bears with exciting action. Its original first-production edition was announced with a newly written story booklet, an illustrated slipcase and digipak, and a special booklet, offering more ways to enjoy the world of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear. These limited first-production extras are subject to availability and are not guaranteed with the current copy.

Story: Yuna is an enthusiastic player of the VRMMORPG World Fantasy Online who enjoys a comfortable, carefree life at home. One day, she logs in as usual and finds that something is different. Could she be inside the game? Or has she arrived in another world? And why is all her equipment bear-themed: bear clothes, bear gloves and bear shoes? Bear... bear... bear... bear!? "What on earth is this?!"

A bear girl is born! But this is no ordinary bear. It is an extraordinary super bear whose magic and skills are among the strongest in the world. With power that might even let her conquer the world, what does Yuna want to do? Live freely and have as much fun as possible here, too! A story of bear-filled adventures and bear-filled everyday life begins with this strongest, invincible bear girl.

Video extras include the mini-anime Bear Bear Bear Kuma!, the first Kumadam chapter, the special programme Welcome to the World of Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear! celebrating the television anime, and a promotional-video collection. Audio commentary is also included.
