Kunon the Sorcerer Can See Animation

Kunon will create eyes through magic—no matter what. Born without sight, the gifted young sorcerer is determined to use water magic to give himself eyes. His curiosity opens up the world in this fantasy of magical discovery, as he studies enchanted tools and magic as academic disciplines and takes on a seemingly impossible challenge alongside his teacher. This second Blu-ray volume contains episodes seven to thirteen, completing the thirteen-episode series.

Within just five months of beginning his studies, Kunon surpasses his teacher’s abilities, and his unprecedented quest brings out still more of his talent. He senses surrounding colors through magical power, turns water magic into warming pads and compresses, and even recreates a cat using elementary spells. His techniques and imagination astonish the royal magicians, and his ability earns him the chance to become an apprentice to a master magical engineer.

Saori Hayami voices Kunon Gurion, with Maaya Uchida as his attendant Iko Round and Akari Kito as Mirika Hugria, the ninth princess and his fiancée. Rikako Yamaguchi plays his first magic teacher, Genie Corse, while Nobunaga Shimazaki voices Zeonly Finroll, the mentor who guides him to greater heights. The opening theme is Isekaijoucho’s “Lachenalia no Yume,” and the ending is KOHTA YAMAMOTO’s “Story feat. katagiri.”

The release features a digipak newly illustrated by original character designer Laruha, an outer slipcase and “A Fresh New Life,” a newly written story by original author Kaifu Minamino. A collection of promotional videos accompanies the episodes.
