#Kyuka Imai: Tsubasa Imai Blu-ray
#休暇今井
What would you do if you suddenly had time off during a busy life? One day, Tsubasa Imai is told that he will have a vacation the following summer. A director who hears the news makes a proposal: may we film you as you are, using your time freely? The setup to this point is fictional. There is no plot beyond it. What do I really want to do now? What is the best way for Imai to spend his time, and what will he discover after spending it that way?
This documentary follows Imai as he looks closely at his own desires and uses his vacation freely. When he considers what he really wants to do, the life he has led naturally comes to the surface. By focusing on what he wants to do on vacation now, the program reveals his true face.
He meets and talks with the people he wants to see: baseball player Munenori Kawasaki, his flamenco mentor Hiroki Sato and acclaimed director Yoji Yamada. His hometown of Fujisawa, drinking at his home shown publicly for the first time, camping and other experiences offer glimpses of his life history. This first close-following documentary about Imai is a must-see for fans.
The release contains all six episodes, with 143 minutes of main footage, and a sixty-second promotional video. An original postcard captures a memorable moment from his vacation. Product specifications are subject to change without notice.
