Let's Go Karaoke! Complete Anime Blu-ray Box

Let's Go Karaoke! follows the unusual friendship between a middle-school choir captain and a yakuza who desperately needs singing lessons. Satomi Oka is an accomplished singer, but his changing voice is making it increasingly difficult to perform. His own worries are interrupted when Kyoji Narita approaches him with an unexpected invitation to karaoke.

Kyoji's gang holds a regular singing contest, and its worst performer faces a badly executed tattoo from the boss. Determined to avoid that punishment, Kyoji asks Satomi to coach him on his chosen song, Kurenai. Satomi reluctantly joins the practice sessions, and the two begin a relationship that crosses the boundaries of age and background. Wada, a younger member of Satomi's choir, is also part of the story.

Shun Horie voices Satomi Oka, Daisuke Ono voices Kyoji Narita and Shinnosuke Tokudome voices Wada. Adapted from Yama Wayama's manga, the Doga Kobo series is directed by Asami Nakatani with assistant director Yukiko Tsukahara and series composition by Yoshimi Narita. Mai Matsuura and Junichiro Taniguchi provide character designs, and Takuro Iga composes the music.

The Blu-ray contains all five episodes, approximately 118 minutes of main content, together with the post-recording cast talk Afureko Iko!, promotional videos and the textless opening sequence. The soundtrack is Japanese Linear PCM, with no subtitles.
