Let This Grieving Soul Retire! Animation

The runaway comedy of misunderstandings continues in the second cour of Let This Grieving Soul Retire! This fourth volume contains episodes 19–24 of the fantasy anime, where everyone’s expectations of the hero have grown dangerously high.

“Let’s become treasure hunters. Our one goal is to be the strongest heroes in the world.” Of the six friends who once made that promise, one boy had overwhelmingly less talent than the others. When he finally admitted his defeat, a childhood friend offered a solution: Krai had no particular role, so he should be their leader.

Formed by those absurdly talented childhood friends, the party Strange Grief makes its name throughout the imperial capital in only a few years. Before he knows what is happening, Krai has been placed at the head of the strongest party. As the expectations around him soar, everything he says and does is misinterpreted, sending events in directions he could never have imagined. This is the heroic tale of Krai Andrey, celebrated as the strongest party leader and clan master, and the glory and anguish that reputation brings.

Bonus videos collect the next-episode previews and promotional material, including the sequel-announcement video, the super teaser and the main promotional video. Audio commentaries accompany episodes 21, 22 and 24, with the cast discussing the series.
