Liar Liar Anime

Lies are the beginning of the strongest! Volume 1 of the school mind-game romantic comedy Liar Liar arrives on Blu-ray.

Academy is an island where carefully selected elites compete in intellectual games. Hiroto Shinohara is its strongest member. On his first day after transferring, he defeats the absolute champion Sarasa Saionji and gains the strongest title, Seven Star. But it is all a lie. In truth, Hiroto is a failure, acting as Academy's strongest to achieve a certain objective. Sarasa, the absolute champion, also hides a major lie. The two decide to cooperate and protect one another's falsehoods.

The Blu-ray contains episodes 1–4. The voice cast features Genta Nakamura as Hiroto Shinohara, Shina Shuto as Shirayuki Himeji and Wakana Kuramochi as Sarasa Saionji. An outer box features newly drawn artwork by original illustrator konomi of Kinokonomi. Included items are a newly written novel by original author Haruki Kuo, a special booklet, a Scalene Love Triangle promotional card and a schedule sticker.

The region-free Blu-ray contains approximately 96 minutes with Japanese Linear PCM 2.0-channel stereo audio and no subtitles. Specifications may change.
