Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files Animation

In Fate/Zero, the young Waver Velvet fought through the Fourth Holy Grail War beside Iskandar, the King of Conquerors. Years later, he has inherited the name Lord El-Melloi and, as Lord El-Melloi II, faces cases steeped in magic and mystery at the Clock Tower, the headquarters of the world’s mages.

Makoto Sanda’s magical mystery reaches animation through the popular Rail Zeppelin story and original episodes leading up to it. TROYCA, known for Aldnoah.Zero and Re:Creators, brings its detailed imagery and rich colour to the production. Makoto Kato, whose work includes Beautiful Bones and Bloom Into You, directs; Fate/Zero director Ei Aoki supervises the world-building, while music by Yuki Kajiura colours a setting centred on London.

The story opens the door to the magical world at the heart of TYPE-MOON, where mystery, fantasy and sorcery intersect. This Standard Edition collects the television series and the Special Episode in a slipcase newly illustrated by Jun Nakai.
