Lupin III The Pursuit of Harimao's Treasure Blu-ray

Lupin III The Pursuit of Harimao's Treasure Blu-ray sends Lupin after a fortune left by a legendary thief who operated during the Second World War. Three statues conceal the route to treasure worth an estimated 80 billion dollars, drawing the master thief into a contest with rivals who know more about Harimao than he expects.

Among those pursuing the statues are Lord Archer, a British aristocrat said to have inspired James Bond, and his granddaughter Diana. Archer's friendship with Harimao gives their search a personal connection to the missing fortune. Their competition with Lupin becomes more dangerous when the armed cult Neo-Himmel intervenes and turns the treasure hunt into a much larger conflict.

Osamu Dezaki directs this television special based on Monkey Punch's characters, with music by Yuji Ohno. Kanichi Kurita voices Lupin alongside Kiyoshi Kobayashi as Jigen, Makio Inoue as Goemon, Eiko Masuyama as Fujiko and Goro Naya as Inspector Zenigata. Tadashi Nakamura and Maya Okamoto join the cast as Archer and Diana.

This individual VAP Blu-ray contains approximately 91 minutes on one disc, presenting the film in its 4:3 frame with 1080p video and Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio. The disc is region-free and has no subtitles. Its recorded content matches the version previously included in the 2010 television-special Blu-ray collection.
