Lupin III The Secret of Twilight Gemini Blu-ray

Lupin III The Secret of Twilight Gemini Blu-ray follows Lupin to Morocco with a diamond entrusted to him by Don Dolune, an influential figure in Europe's underworld. Known as Twilight, the stone is said to unlock treasure worth tens of billions of francs that the Gelt people concealed a century earlier. Before Lupin can reach it, a pursuit involving Inspector Zenigata is interrupted by an attack from a mysterious group.

The Gelt people now live under the oppression of the Ico, and their movement has split between those seeking peaceful independence and the militant Gelt society. Targeted by the latter, Lupin must discover what lies behind Dolune's apparently profitable proposal. The diamond connects his familiar pursuit of treasure to a conflict with a much longer history.

Gisaburo Sugii directs and co-writes the screenplay with Hideki Mitsui and Naoya Azuma. Takayuki Negishi provides the score, with the theme by Yuji Ohno. Alongside the regular cast, Shuichiro Moriyama voices Dolune, Aya Hisakawa plays Lara, Nachi Nozawa plays Sadachiyo and Takayuki Sugo voices Jean.

This one-disc edition contains the 91-minute special on a region-free, dual-layer Blu-ray in 4:3 1080p, with Japanese Linear PCM 2.0 stereo audio and no subtitles. The disc content is the same as the version previously included in the 2010 TV-special Blu-ray collection.
