Maaya Sakamoto's fourth concept album is also her first duet album and the second release celebrating her twenty-fifth anniversary. Seven singers join her, bringing together close friends and artists she has long respected.
Hiroki Wada, who sang the ending theme for The Vision of Escaflowne when Sakamoto debuted with its opening Yakusoku wa Iranai, appears on Duet! Other partners are Yoshio Inoue, Tomomi Uchimura of la la larks, Kyoko Koizumi, Kohei Dojima, Asako Toki and Masakazu Hara of the band apart.
The duet partners contribute lyrics and music alongside Sakamoto's own compositions, with additional writing from TENDRE, Shoko Suzuki, Ryo Eguchi and Yuho Iwasato.
