Macross Delta Concerts

The largest live event in Macross history, drawing approximately 38,000 people across two days, finally comes to video. Hear Walküre's miraculous five-part vocals as the group moves freely around a 360-degree stage and five runways, in a production fully synchronized with the story of Macross Delta the Movie: Absolute Live!!!!!!

Walküre, the tactical music unit from the 2016 television anime Macross Delta, performs a program centered on its third album, Walküre Reborn!, following the world of the film. Both Macross Frontier covers performed during the two days' encores are included. For the first time on a Walküre video release, the Blu-ray offers both 5.1-channel surround and two-channel stereo sound to convey the full soundscape of the 360-degree stage.

The main concert was recorded on April 10, 2022, in Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls 4, 5 and 6. It begins with Walküre Reborn! - Introduction, Glow in the dark by Yami_Q_ray, Kuchibiru no Tosho, Tsurami Genzai Shinkokei and the first MC segment, followed by Mugendai DRIVE, Kikiwakenai!, the second MC segment, Madamania, Kizuna - Spiral, Kaze wa Yokoku Naku Fuku and Aishiteru.

The program also features Diva in Abyss and Kirei na Hana ni wa Doku ga Aru by Yami_Q_ray, Ringo no Uta as an instrumental, and Mirai wa Onna no Tame ni Aru. The Absolute Live!!!!!! medley combines Bokura no Senjo, Ikenai Borderline, Zettai Reido Theta Novatic, God Bless You and Walküre wa Akiramenai. ALIVE - Inori no Uta, Sora no Kakera and Run ni Hana Saku Koi mo Aru follow. The encore contains Universal Bunny, the third MC segment and Walküre wa Akiramenai, followed by the ending.

The bonus track is Sayonara no Tsubasa - the end of triangle, recorded during the April 9, 2022 encore at the same venue. DOCUMENTARY OF WALKÜRE REBORN! follows the backstage activity on both days. The jacket features a new illustration by Macross Delta character designer Chisato Mita of CAPCOM.

Walküre comprises JUNNA as Mikumo, Minori Suzuki as Freyja, Kiyono Yasuno as Kaname, Nao Toyama as Reina and Nozomi Nishida as Makina.

The original first pressing included a deluxe 52-page photo book and sleeve case; these were first-press features and are subject to copy availability.
