Memories that never fade — listen to our songs! Celebrating the fortieth anniversary of Macross and the fifteenth anniversary of Macross Frontier, this special limited Blu-ray box brings together the complete television series.

The main programme uses the Zentramori Blu-ray Box version digitally remastered under chief director Shoji Kawamori's supervision. All 25 television episodes are included. Episode 1 is supplied in three versions: the television-series version, the Deculture edition broadcast in December 2007, and the complete Yack Deculture edition. Episode 25 is the full-length version. The main discs also include MUSIC CHAPTER functions that jump directly to scenes using the series' songs. The storage case features a new illustration by character designer Risa Ebata. Production of this special limited edition may end without advance notice, and edition or extras may change.

Story: It is 2059. Sheryl Nome, a leading singer from the Macross Galaxy fleet, comes to the long-distance emigrant fleet Macross Frontier for a concert. Ranka Lee, a high-school girl who admires Sheryl, is hurrying to the concert she has long dreamed of attending when she meets Alto Saotome, a high-school student training as a pilot. Suddenly, Frontier encounters an unknown enemy. These are neither humans from Earth nor another alien people, but unfamiliar space creatures. Their powerful attacks inflict damage on the New U.N. military forces one after another. The creatures eventually enter the civilians' residential areas. Even this peaceful spacecraft is vulnerable: once fighting begins, its artificial environmental control could stop. To deal with the crisis, the VF-25 unit of the special military service S.M.S. deploys under Ozma, Ranka's brother and only family. What do these space creatures want? What fate awaits Macross Frontier?
