Magical Destroyers Limited Edition Blu-ray Box

A story of love, madness and destruction.

In 2008, a mysterious force appeared in Japan and erased every form of otaku culture: anime, games, manga, music, railways, cosplay and more. Merchandise was confiscated, and otaku were persecuted in the name of protection. Yet people raised no questions, as though they had lost their sense of self.

Crushed by the SSC, the organisation responsible for maintaining order, otaku seemed to have been wiped out. Then a group emerged to reclaim the sealed-off district of Akiba and raise the flag of rebellion.

At its heart is the young revolutionary Otaku Hero, a man who loves otaku culture above all else and Akiba more than anyone. By his side are three magical girls who adore him: Anarchy, Blue and Pink.

Set in Japan in 2011, the Akiba Revolutionary Army brings together otaku under the banner of freedom to wage a fierce battle against SSC leader SHOBON. They fight for a world where everyone can openly love what they love, as much as they want. Otaku gathered beneath the flag of freedom: launch an OTAKU COUNTER CULTURE and take back the culture stolen from you!

This illustrated Digipak and slipcase edition includes an original soundtrack and special booklet. Extras feature creditless opening and ending sequences, a collection of promotional videos and commercials, and audio commentary.
