Malevolent Spirits: Mononogatari Original Soundtrack collects music from both chapters of the television anime. John Kanda of PENGUIN RESEARCH and XELIK provide the score, with newly illustrated jacket artwork by main character designer Shiori Fujisawa.

Disc 1 contains Chapter One's background music and TV-size opening and ending themes. Disc 2 moves to Chapter Two, including its score, the opening Ta ga Tame by Megatera Zero, and the TV-size ending Private Room sung by Azusa Tadokoro, who voices Itsuki.

Disc 3 features collaboration songs by Megatera Zero and John Kanda, along with instrumental versions and a prototype recording of Gassho. The three-disc program contains 74 tracks.
