Mariko Takahashi presents her first collection devoted to drama and film theme songs. These songs coloured their respective eras, including Gomen ne..., the theme for Nippon Television's Kayo Suspense Gekijo, and Friends from TV Asahi's Hamidashi Keiji Jonetsukei, which attracted attention as a song connected with memories of her late mother.
Her repertoire is so extensive that many familiar songs, heard time and again, are rarely featured in concerts. This collection brings those songs together.
A newly recorded Friends (Prelude Version) uses the early lyrics loved by her late mother. Featured and performed on TBS's Nakai Masahiro no Kinyobi no Smile Tachi e, that version makes its first appearance on CD here.
