Masaharu Fukuyama: Kotodama no Sakiwau Natsu at Budokan 2023 Blu-ray
福山雅治/FUKUYAMA MASAHARU LIVE FILM 言霊の幸わう夏@NIPPON BUDOKAN 2023 通常盤
Masaharu Fukuyama’s acclaimed live film, first screened for a limited four-week run in January 2024, arrives in a complete edition. Pursuing his ideal live sound, stage presentation and visual world, the production aims to create a concert experience that goes beyond the live performance itself.
The film connects past and present through the story of a young Fukuyama, dreaming of music, who comes to watch his present-day self on stage. More than forty cameras captured the concert from every direction, combining a carefully constructed cinematic perspective with the energy of the performance.
This complete version adds five songs absent from both the theatrical release and the Amazon Prime Video version. It also includes a special audio conversation between Fukuyama and the engineer, offering another perspective on the creation of the concert’s sound. A photo card with the regular-edition design accompanies the release.
