Masanori Otoda makes his major-label debut with back shot, the opening theme for the second cour of Daemons of the Shadow Realm. The twenty-three-year-old solo artist from Kyoto built a total of five hundred million streams through independent activity before this release.

Like his signature song fake face dance music, which became a viral hit across Asia, back shot combines a dark, pleasure-seeking atmosphere with upbeat dance music and a love-song sensibility. Otoda's changing vocal colours, words and melodies reveal different scenes within a single song. This new-generation city-pop number is made to energise social feeds, drives and parties in Japan and beyond.
