Forty years after his February 25, 1980 debut with Chanels, Masayuki Suzuki explores his own definition of rock ’n’ roll. This anniversary collection combines newly recorded Chanels and Rats & Star songs, Western covers, new original music and a remastered retrospective of Chanels, Rats & Star and Gosperats.

Mr. Black 2nd brings well-known songs to life with distinguished artists and creators, while the year of RATS best looks back through the group recordings. Perfect Vision adds new anniversary music: Iki mo Dekinai Kurai with Sho Ayanokoji; Motivation, the theme for Haken no Hinkaku; and DADDY! DADDY! DO! feat. Airi Suzuki, the opening theme for Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?. Tatoe Sekai ga Soppo Muite mo with Masayoshi Oishi accompanies Chuzai Keiji Season 2, while Polaris with Angela Aki is the theme for NHK’s Banjo no Himawari.

The limited edition also opens the ultra RARE tracks archive, pairing Chanels karaoke recordings with previously unreleased performances from the legendary second Doo-Wop Carnival.
