Mechanical Marie Animation

A maid pretending to be a robot meets an heir who cannot stand people in a warm romantic comedy filled with laughter, tenderness and unexpected tears. Newly drawn bonus material by original creator Aki Akimoto accompanies the complete series.

“At last, she is complete: Marie, the mechanical-doll robot maid.” Former martial-arts prodigy Marie hides her human identity to work at the mansion of Arthur, the people-hating heir to a vast fortune. If her true nature is discovered, she could face immediate execution!

Using her naturally expressionless face to maintain the illusion, Marie diligently performs her duties while fighting off assassins who target Arthur. Yet her greatest daily danger may be Arthur himself: as he showers her with affection, she constantly risks revealing that she is human. Their master-and-servant relationship begins with a lie and gradually develops into an unforeseen romance.

The box contains all twelve episodes, a sleeve case newly illustrated by Akimoto and a newly drawn comic. Audio commentary and a collection of promotional videos and commercials provide additional material.
