Megumi Ogata returns with her first original album in around two years, Gekiyaku -Dramatic Medicine-. All ten songs are newly written, pairing the encouraging sound she calls yell rock with lyrics in her own words, intended to give listeners a push forward.
Contributors include HISASHI of GLAY, Kayoko Kusano, Ken Ito and Katsuhiko Kurosu. Ogata also performs the theme song for the Otomate romance adventure Clockwork Apocalypse, in which she voices a key character.
The programme opens with Never, ever and continues through Pandora, Inori, Buster Master and Laboratory Marionette. Precious Shinin' Star, Like a human, Try Out, Go On!, Breaking Dawn and Repeat complete the album.
