METAL BUILD イカルガ 『ナイツ＆マジック』
Ikaruga, the powerful Silhouette Knight built by Ernesti in Knights & Magic, joins METAL BUILD. Anime mecha designer Hidetaka Tenjin reimagined it as a robot that could exist in a fantasy world, giving every form a structural or functional purpose. Die-cast joints and armor lend weight to its unusual proportions.
A linkage at the knees lets the ornate leg armor move clear of deep bends, including kneeling poses. A piece inspired by a military chess token converts into a chair-style base, recalling Ikaruga's first illustration in the original novels. Gold-colored armor carries METAL BUILD original engravings, while the front and rear skirt pieces use wired PVC sheets that can be shaped as if flowing.
Shoulder-mounted ceremonial flags bear a motif of the Order of the Silver Phoenix. Die-cast also appears beneath the armor, in scale-like panels and the blade fins on the arms. Four Gun Swords switch between gun and sword forms. The four auxiliary arms on the back can carry the weapons, and the included lead wires recreate their launched hands.
The ABS, PVC and die-cast figure stands approximately 210 mm tall. Images show a prototype; the final product may differ.
