Season's Album 2 returns to Mitsuru Adachi's illustration work with his first new collection in 23 years. Produced for the artist's 55th career anniversary, it covers the period from KATSU! through the serialized works that followed.
Illustrations contributed to other publications and a collection of magazine covers extend the selection beyond the regular series material. A long interview and a visit to Adachi's workplace add a view of the person and working environment behind the drawings.
This is the second album of artwork, not a repeat of the first volume's contents. The Japanese edition has 264 pages in total, with the publisher describing 256 full-colour pages.
