Mobile Suit Gundam AGE Blu-ray Box Limited Edition
機動戦士ガンダムAGE Blu-ray Box 特装限定版
Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, the first Gundam series to tell an epic drama across three generations, finally comes to Blu-ray Box to mark the tenth anniversary of its television broadcast. Three destinies become history. The television series and the original animation Memory of Eden are brought together.
Flit Arc: In the space age, centuries have passed since migration to space colonies began. Wars over control of the Earth Sphere have ended, and a peaceful era seems about to arrive. But that peace is suddenly shattered by an unknown enemy.
In AG115, Flit, now alone, has been taken in at the Earth Federation military base on the colony Nora. At fourteen, he completes a mobile suit with Vargas, the Federation's mobile-suit technology developer. Built from the records in a device, Gundam carries the AGE System, a computer that continually develops itself. As if fate had decreed it, Nora too comes under attack from the UE. Can the Gundam piloted by Flit overcome them?
Asemu Arc: Twenty-five years pass, and Gundam is handed down to a new generation. The war between the Earth Federation and the Vagan, formerly called the UE, continues without an end. Federation commander Flit Asuno entrusts the AGE Device to his son Asemu on his seventeenth birthday. When the Vagan attack Tordia, the colony where Asemu lives, he activates the hidden Gundam to protect its people.
Kio Arc: Asemu's son Kio has grown into a kind-hearted boy of thirteen. The Vagan attack Oliver Notes, where he lives. An enemy fortress destroys Big Ring, and the Vagan leader Ezelcant declares the start of a full-scale invasion of Earth. Attacks spread across the planet, throwing the Federation into chaos. In this crisis, Kio and Flit attempt to activate a new Gundam, AGE-3.
Three Generations Arc: Returning to the Earth Sphere, Kio reunites with his companions aboard the Diva. He tells Asemu and Flit about his experiences in the Mars Sphere, but Flit's determination to eradicate the Vagan remains unchanged. Asemu is also unable to offer the uncertain Kio a clear answer. Kio resolves to face the war according to his own convictions. Meanwhile, Federation commander-in-chief Algreus discovers that Luna Base has fallen into Vagan hands and launches an operation to retake it. Gundam AGE-FX, evolved still further, now descends towards the Moon.
Memory of Eden: Two destinies that should never have crossed. Asemu Asuno, son of Earth Federation commander Flit Asuno, and Zeheart Galette, a warrior who throws himself into battle for the Vagan people. For a brief time they live together, build a friendship and, despite their occasional clashes, gaze upon the same universe. Eventually, an ironic parting arrives. Is the meeting of these boys the beginning of tragedy, or a light towards hope? Among the stars, they cross blades, call each other's names and shed tears. Their feelings, tossed about by war, lead to one future. Its conclusion is here.
The release includes an archive drama CD presenting the stories originally supplied with earlier Blu-ray editions, a special booklet and newly illustrated storage box and inner jackets. Archived and newly recorded audio commentaries accompany video bonuses including the opening and ending without credits, promotional videos and commercials.
