Amate Yuzuriha lives a quiet school life in a space colony until she meets Nyaan and is drawn into Clan Battle, an illegal competition fought with mobile suits. Taking the entry name Machu, she pilots the GQuuuuuuX through increasingly fierce matches. Then a mysterious Gundam, pursued by both the military and the police, appears before her with its young pilot Shuji. Their encounter signals the beginning of a new era.

Created through the collaboration of Studio Khara and Sunrise, this theatrical opening to Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX stars Tomoyo Kurosawa as Machu, Yui Ishikawa as Nyaan and Shimba Tsuchiya as Shuji. The 80-minute feature is included on both a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and a standard Blu-ray, with English subtitles, Japanese accessibility subtitles and a Japanese audio guide.

A separate bonus Blu-ray contains teasers, trailers, the main trailer, Promotion Reel and Promotion Reel 2, television commercials, the special footage added after theatrical screenings, and stage-greeting footage. The three-disc package also contains a special booklet and 17 Bunch Incident, a newly written novella by series composer and screenwriter Yoji Enokido.
