Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway SUNRISE Music Label Anime Music

A soundtrack that opens a new chapter of the Universal Century. To celebrate the forty-fifth anniversary of Gundam, the music from the 2021 film Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway receives a general retail release.

The film is the first part of a trilogy adapting Yoshiyuki Tomino’s three-volume novel, published in 1989 and 1990. It is set in Universal Century 0105, twelve years after the final confrontation between Amuro Ray and Char Aznable in Char’s Counterattack. Hathaway Noa, who witnessed their battle, now rises against the corrupt Earth Federation government.

Following his work on Gundam Unicorn and Gundam Narrative, Hiroyuki Sawano creates a sound that evokes space and the future, carrying Gundam into a new Universal Century. The soundtrack encompasses the film’s music, including the theme song Senkou by [Alexandros].
